Our History
Established in 1972 by Roger & Chris Prendergast, this family run business which started out with a single Fordson Tractor has expanded to become one of the largest and comprehensive Earth Moving & Civil Contractors in Central Victoria.
Servicing the Macedon Ranges, Central & Regional Victoria and the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, the company has a dedicated, qualified, and experienced team of staff working together to ensure all aspects of their projects are performed safely, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. We service a range of clients from both the Private and Government sector across the regional, rural, and residential area.
PRENDERGAST TODAY
Our experience extends across a broad variety of projects including road construction, excavation, subdivisions, sports grounds, concrete, dams, pipelines and more.
In 2014, sons Jason and Travis took ownership of the business and their leadership has seen the company focus on engaging a professional company culture now employing over 40 staff. Their foresight to seek emerging technologies and strategies ensures jobs are completed efficiently reducing the amount of labour and time at jobs while keeping the quality superior; a must in this evolving industry.
Fast forward 50 years and Prendergast Earthmoving has situated themselves with the capability, staff, and equipment to deliver quality projects for its clients in all facets of civil construction.
