About Us
Prendergast Earthmoving was established in 1972 by Roger Prendergast. Starting out with a Fordson Tractor with blade, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most experienced Earth Moving & Civil Contractors in Central Victoria.
Almost 50 years on and with an extensive range of plant equipment including Graders with GPS, Bobcats, Rollers, Excavators including full GPS controls, Prendergast Earthmoving has the experience and the equipment to deliver quality projects for its clients in all facets of civil construction.
Whilst Roger and Chris are still passionate about the company Jason and Travis Prendergast have now taken over the running of the business.
Servicing the Macedon Ranges, Central & Regional Victoria and the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, the company has a dedicated, qualified and experienced team of staff working together to ensure all aspects of their projects are performed safely, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner.
Our Experience
50 years in road, Bridge, drainage bulk earthmoving & dam construction
35 + years in bulk transport, quarry / mining materials handling.
25 years – all Sub divisional works including, storm water, sewer, power, Telstra, asphalt & spray seal.
20 + years concreting from exposed aggregate pavement surfaces, agricultural industries such as poultry & piggery works, slabs for silo bases, machinery sheds and weighbridges, structures headwalls.

We believe in up skilling not only our staff but also ourselves to ensure we are up to date in the latest techniques.
As a member of the Civil Contractors Federation we run an Integrated Management System on our projects.
Our fleet of machinery is constantly maintained with our own team of mechanics to ensure reliability.
